A pair of low brackets that hang a smaller supported awning, the Tepui, ARB or Roam kind, off the side of a Sherpa crossbar, with a rooftop tent above.
/WHY IT IS HERE
Sherpa made these to share the rack with a rooftop tent. They sit less than 3/4 in above the rack, so the tent goes on top and the awning hangs below it.
/KNOW BEFORE YOU BUY
- Not for 270 degree awnings. Those need the HD awning mount.
- Sherpa racks only. They bolt to the side of Sherpa's crossbars.
- With a hardshell tent: the Short (0.5 in) tent mounts give enough clearance if the tent has tracks on its base. A tent with recessed tracks needs the Tall (1 in) mounts.
- Hardware for the crossbar side is included. The awning side takes M8 bolts.
- Sherpa recommend mounting the awning as close to the vehicle as the bracket allows, for strength.
- Sherpa have not published install instructions for these yet.
/WHICH ONE
Sherpa cut a rack for each Land Cruiser generation before the 200. The Mineral for the 1980 to 1990 60 Series, The La Sal for the 1990 to 1997 80 Series and Lexus LX450, and The Oxford for the 1998 to 2007 100 Series and Lexus LX470. To dress one: tent mounts, awning mounts or the HD awning mount, the Adapt Plate and the Starlink Mini mounts.
