80 Series Lower Control Arms, 7075 Aluminum

Lower control arms for the 80 Series Land Cruiser, machined from 7075-T6 billet aluminum by Overland Custom Design. They replace the factory steel links. Those are the ones that bend when a rock gets a vote.

/WHY IT IS HERE

7075 is called a memory alloy. It flexes under a hit and comes back straight. Steel takes the hit and stays bent. Overland Custom Design rates these stronger than DOM steel links and harder to bend.

/KNOW BEFORE YOU BUY

• Left and right hand threads, jam nuts and wrench flats. You set the length on the truck without pulling the arm.
• Johnny Joints at the ends. They flex further than rubber bushings and can be rebuilt. Expect a little more road feel.
• Overland Custom Design is a small shop that builds in batches. If timing matters, ask before you order.
• Change-of-mind returns on this brand carry a 20% restocking fee. Measure twice.
