Refund policy
We want the gear to earn its place in your kit. If it does not, here is how returns work.
Window. 30 days from delivery.
Condition. Unused, in original packaging, with tags. Vehicle parts must be uninstalled. Gear that has been out in the field is yours to keep, unless it arrived damaged or defective.
How. Email hello@roaminglost.co with your order number and what you are returning. We reply with the return address, which is usually the partner brand's warehouse. Do not ship anything back before you hear from us. The address depends on the brand, and some brands refuse returns they did not approve first.
Return shipping. Paid by you for change of mind. Paid by us for damaged, defective or wrong items.
Restocking fees. Camp gear carries none. Some vehicle and recovery brands charge a restocking fee on change-of-mind returns, up to 20%. It comes off the refund. It is exactly what the brand charges us, we add nothing, and we tell you the figure before you ship anything back.
Refunds. To the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days of the return arriving. Original shipping is not refunded on change-of-mind returns.
Damaged, defective or wrong. Check your package when it lands. Email photos within 2 business days of delivery so we can file the claim with the brand and the carrier. We send a prepaid label, then replace or refund the item. Your call.
Warranty. Defects that show up after the return window are covered by the brand's own warranty. Email us and we help you file the claim.
Exchanges. Return the item and place a new order. Faster than waiting on stock.
Final sale. Made-to-order and special-order parts cannot be canceled or returned once the brand starts building them, unless they arrive damaged or defective.
