What you run when the all-terrain is not enough. The asymmetric tread keeps the drive home tolerable in a way most mud terrains do not, and the stone ejector ribs stop gravel packing into the grooves, which is the failure that turns a mud tire into a slick on mixed ground.

• No severe snow rating. The Baja Boss A/T sizes are 3PMS certified and the mud terrains are not. If winter is the reason you are shopping, buy the A/T.
• No treadwear warranty is published on the mud terrains. The A/T sizes carry 50,000 miles.
• Deeper tread than the A/T at 21/32 against 18.5/32, and 0.3 inches taller at the same nominal size.
• A 35 needs the lift, the upper control arms and the gearing, the same as the all-terrain.
