80 Series Steering Linkage, 7075 Aluminum

A drag link and tie rod for the 80 Series Land Cruiser, made from 1-1/2 inch 7075 aluminum by Overland Custom Design. Sold as a kit with the jam nuts.

/WHY IT IS HERE

Overland Custom Design calls 7075 a memory alloy: it flexes under a hit and returns to straight while keeping its strength. They point to rock crawlers, Ultra4 and rock bouncers as where it has been proven.

/KNOW BEFORE YOU BUY

• Tie rod ends are not in the kit. The tubes take OEM thread. Overland Custom Design recommends 555 tie rod ends, which Cruiser Outfitters sells.
• Overland Custom Design says it is ideal for an 80 Series with 2 to 4 inches of lift.
• Overland Custom Design is a small shop that builds in batches. If timing matters, ask before you order.
• Change-of-mind returns on this brand carry a 20% restocking fee. Measure twice.
